该死，这真的太难了。每天更衣室里的邻座、每场比赛大巴上的身边人。以后往左边一看却见不到你，不再能在场上每一次攻防中听到你的声音，不能再偷偷拿走你放进柜子里的每一样新东西，也不能再拥有那个无论想聊什么问题、开什么玩笑都会陪着我的戴夫叔叔，这一切会有多难，我甚至不敢想。

无论场上还是场下，我们之间有太多回忆，而这些回忆，没有一个不是我会永远珍藏的。你是一名职业典范，是不可思议的足球运动员，但我从未想过，你作为一个人的分量竟然如此之大。谦逊、幽默、积极，同时又是真正的领袖，每一天都以近乎执拗的态度投入工作。

尽管我们职业生涯和人生阶段几乎处处不同，但从第一天开始，你就把我护在羽翼下，无论我需要什么，你都会在我身边。看到像你这样优秀的人遭遇如此巨大的打击，我真的心如刀割。但你却坦然面对了一切，每天依然带着笑容、跳着舞，或者上演一场“灾难的卡拉OK”！

每当我觉得自己已经无法再更加敬佩你时，那份敬佩却又翻了一倍……一次又一次。

所以，谢谢你为我做的一切，我爱你，我的兄弟！我们之间建立起来的关系，比你能想象到的还要珍贵、还要让我感激。能够与你并肩，是我的荣幸。

Shit this one is difficult. My neighbour in the locker room everyday and on the bus to every game. How tough it will be to look to my left and not see you there, to not hear you during every action on the pitch, to not steal every new product you brought into your locker and to not have my Uncle Dave there for any problem or joke we wanted to share. I have too many memories both on and off the pitch but none that I won’t look back on fondly. You are an exemplary professional, an unbelievable footballer but what I could never have imagined was the magnitude of person you are. Humble, funny, positive, but an absolute leader and relentless in your work every single day. With almost everything separating what points of our career and lives we were at, from day 1 you took me under your wing and were there for me at all times for whatever I needed. It killed me inside to see how such a great human could be hit with such a huge adversity but you took it in your stride, every day a smile, a dance or a karaoke disaster! When I thought my admiration for you couldn’t grow anymore, it doubled… Again and again. So thank you for everything and I love you my brother!
